Ms. Sedirwa brings more than 20 years of experience across African financial markets, with deep expertise in investment management, corporate finance, and institutional advisory. Her skill set spans capital allocation, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, capital markets, due diligence leadership, and environmental, social, and governance frameworks, enabling disciplined and well governed investment decision making.
Her leadership approach is analytical, structured, and governance driven. She is known for translating complex financial and operational data into clear strategic insights that support sustainable growth, risk management, and performance accountability. Her work consistently focuses on strengthening internal controls, improving investment discipline, and aligning portfolio strategy with long term institutional objectives.
Ms. Sedirwa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Actuarial Science from Butler University in the United States, as well as advanced qualifications from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, including a Master of Philosophy in Development Finance and a Senior Management Development qualification. Her actuarial and development finance background provides a rigorous quantitative foundation for investment evaluation and strategic oversight.
In her role as Chief Investment Officer, Ms. Sedirwa is responsible for overseeing investment governance, regulatory alignment, strategic reporting, and portfolio performance across Acute Global’s subsidiaries. Her expertise supports the Group’s evolution into a professionally managed, governance focused investment platform capable of supporting scale, complexity, and regional expansion.
